Distressed woman at protest at Lomas del Poleo, Juarez-2007
Juarez is in flames right now.
Drug war is raging. I’m calling it a drug war. It’s a lot of things war. Always is.
Murder of men is rampant. Women? Anybody.See: http://www.elpasotimes.com/ci_8817246?source=most_viewed
It’s a lot of things. The militarization of the border is making things, well…more military. Boom boom. You squeeze the cartel in Tijuana and the balloon pops in Juarez.
You know?
The militarization of Lomas del Poleo is not unrelated. Lawlessness is rampant again, or should I say, revealed again.
Dylan said, “Some people rob you with a gun and some with a fountain pen.
Mini rant: If the land grab of Lomas’ 800 acres isn’t lawlessness, nothing is. Two thousand troops have been sent to the border to clamp down on the drug war. How long will it be before they find their way to Lomas del Poleo to “secure the border?” (See:http://newspapertree.com/features/1976-making-a-killing-land-deals-and-girl-deaths-on-the-u-s-mexico-border)
Advice to America: Stop taking drugs.
Advice to Mexico: Spread the wealth.
Advice to me: keep shooting this pain. To not feel it is the end.
