“The best tuxedo for your graduation - Reserve it now!”… Well! Apparently this man coming out accepted he wouldn’t ever be a graduate and would just change and wash his T shirts after having worked hard with his hands in the dirt. He’s looking down, concentrating on his tools.
Meanwhile, the “fancy man”, whose hands are hidden (maybe in another type of dirt) is just turning his eyes away, towards a sign talking about “JOY”!
I think that if I had been wandering with you in the streets of Ciudad Juarez on that day, I could hardly have resisted shooting that scene too. Thank you Bruce!
